The Loyola University campus in Dos Hermanas, Seville, has achieved LEED Platinum environmental certification. Thanks to its strong commitment to sustainability, it has become the first integrated campus in the world to receive this certification, awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council. The 10 indicators evaluated to attain the award focused on the sustainability of the facilities, water and energy efficiency, use of materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, design and innovation, and the project's alignment with local sustainability priorities.

Our contribution to the project involved the management of packaging and waste, 90% of which was successfully recycled, as it was recovered after construction for use in future projects. As a result, no rubble was generated on site. In addition, IASO—like the other manufacturers—provided technical datasheets for the key materials used: aluminium, white fabric, black fabric, and stainless steel accessories, always including the pre- and post-consumer recycled content to promote more responsible use of materials and resources.

All of this was made possible thanks to strong coordination between the site managers, with regular information exchange and meetings to discuss progress and address any issues that arose during installation.
