PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The new Camp Clar sports stadium was built to hold the 18th Mediterranean Games. This sports arena has capacity for 5.000 people, and a textile false ceiling has been installed under the metallic structure of the cover. The membrane is fractioned into strips approximately 6m wide, following the modulation of the metallic substructure. The surface area of 4.494m² is composed of 44 tarpaulins.
TECHNICAL BASE
Project carried out from the installation of a cover of membranes. The membranes are shape-seeking and with decomposition by patterns to adapt perfectly to the structure's geometry. The fabric used is a white mesh, brand Ferrari and ref. FT381. The tarpaulins are supported by a cords around the perimeter and a cable fixed to the metallic structure. The fabric, with elastic cord, is of silicone, brand Ferrari, reference Silcord.
