Entrenasas is conceived as an open space, designed for walking, sitting and extending time in the dining area. In this type of place, comfort does not depend only on what happens indoors: it is also defined by the quality of the exterior. The textile cover supports this idea with a clear and contemporary gesture: a sequence of tensioned strips that filters the sun without closing the sky.
The light becomes softer, the space remains ventilated and the terrace gains continuity throughout the day. From a distance, the system gives the promenade a recognisable identity; up close, the projected shade draws a gentle rhythm on the pavement and creates a more serene atmosphere for those who stop to eat, wait or simply walk through the centre.
TECHNICAL BASE
The intervention is resolved with tensioned PVC strips installed on a modular structure. This solution allows for a clean and repeatable geometry, adapting to different lengths and shading needs in each section. The spacing between strips allows air and part of the light to pass through, reducing direct radiation and glare without losing the feeling of an open space.
In the visitor experience, the benefit is immediate: less heat accumulation in seating areas, greater comfort along the walkways and a terrace that is used more naturally during sunny hours. For the retail park, the cover provides visual order, outdoor durability and a practical solution to enable dining and meeting areas with an aesthetic consistent with the architecture of the complex.
